Nutritional Supplements, and Your Health
When it comes to our Health we sometimes don't spend enough time learning what our body needs to stay healthy. We don't always eat the right food, nor exercise enough. So are body isn't able to repair itself as it was designed to do.
The foods we eat unfortunately do not have the nutrition our body needs. We take take supplements thinking they will make up for our unhealthy eating. The truth is all supplements are not equal, so take time to learn what is best for you.
One thing we all need to watch is getting the right kind, and amount of protein every day. Experts say we should have one pound of meat, fish or poultry everyday. This keeps our body and muscles in shape, and healthy.
I was introduced to a Protein Supplement called MAP for Master Amino Acid Pattern. This product was first given to athletics, and body builders by Doctors to get muscle recovery faster after a work out. It's been found that people who don't get enough exercise can benefit from MAP to maintain and build muscle.
A Doctor that had seen the results of MAP with athletes, decided to give his race horse MAP. So he gave his horse 40 grams of MAP a day; how long I don't know, but it wasn't a long time. The horse had never won a race, and the Doctor was stunned when the horse won its first race.
I know we don't run like a horse, but think of the benefit of having good energy, muscles, and fast recovery after working out.
Most people only need to take 3-5 tablets per day (1000 mg each). Someone who works out might take 5-10 tablets, 30 minutes prior to physical activity.
MAP is a dietary supplement that contains a unique amino acid profile that provides a 99% Net Nitrogen Utilization (NNU) for body protein synthesis (BPS), the highest among any dietary protein or protein substitute.
The other good news about MAP is it contains NO fat, sodium, sugar, yeast, gluten, soy, corn, wheat, rice, GMO, preservatives, excipients, dairy, or animal products.
MAP is recommended in the dietary management of those individuals with inadequate amino acids intake.
You can hear from Dr Luca Moretti; the man behind MAP; talk about the benefits of MAP at this recorded presentation. At the end of the presentation there is a Q & A, where you hear about the race horse.
